Our Intinerary

We leave for China in 4 days! Below is a brief outline of our trip.

October 25th- 7:30PM Leave for China

October 26th- 11:55PM Arrive in Beijing

October 27th- Sight see in Beijing

October 28th- Tour New Day; Fly to Hohhot

October 29th- Pick up Levi

October 30th-1st- Finalize adoption and lots of paperwork

November 2nd- Pickup adoption documents and fly to Guangzhou

November 3rd- Levi's Medical Exam

November 4th-5th- sight seeing days

November 6th- Visa Appointment with US Consulate and Oath Ceremony

November 7th- Pick up Levi's visa and leave for Hong Kong

November 8th- Levi is home and becomes US Citizen!!

not sure if you remember me...prayed for Levi and we connected in Jan/Feb. I am SO thankful for this journey! What a beautiful story! SO happy for your whole family! Gods plans are amazing! May God bless you all!

We are adopting as well! Twin boys from Bulgaria!

3/31/12 New Day told Levi he had a family!
3/30/12 State certifications done
3/28/12 First home study visit
3/27/12 County certifications done
3/24/12 Last of home study documents mailed! Amazed we did this in 2 weeks!
3/23/12 Mark's medical
3/21/12 Kris' medical
3/19/12 Mark's psych eval
3/16/12 Finish workbook/Fire Inspection
3/15/12 FBI/BCI Fingerprinting/Kris' psych eval
3/13/12 Sent Levi a care package.
3/9/12 Start educational workbook
3/8/12 Half of home study documents mailed in
3/6/12 Home study binder arrives.
3/3/12 finished online education courses
3/2/12 PA came from China! Only took 1 week!
2/24/12 PA sent to China
2/23/12 PA documents finished! Levi's file locked!
2/22/12 Begin paper chase for our PA
2/21/12 Emily called for an hour interview. She called back that afternoon...LEVI IS OURS!!
2/20/12 Erin called to say all other familes pulled out and may the director call you tomorrow for an interview!!
2/10/12 Denied again. Four other families interested with the twinning issue.
2/8/12 Prayed about adoption and kept hearing, "He's Yours."
2/7/12 AGCI denied us the referral due to artificial twinning issue. We write a letter to appeal.
2/6/12 Called AGCI to commit to Levi and fill out application.
2/3/12 Found out Meredith lived with Levi last summer. Emailed Mark who said, "What do we have to do?"
2/2/12 Met Meredith, whose family is adopting Levi's best friend with the same heart condition.
1/31/12 Found out he was at New Day Foster Home.
1/25/12 Went back to check on Levi's status and saw an updated photo of Levi. Recontacted agency.
12/09/11 Saw Levi for the first time and fell in love. Requested his file but saw the serious heart condition and set file aside.
